Mission Statement

UO NALSA seeks to promote the study of Federal Indian Law, Tribal Law and traditional forms of governance as well as support Native Americans in becoming lawyers. This includes reaching out to Native communities to encourage Native People to pursue a legal education. We hope to educate the legal community about Native issues, including cultural awareness and the skills needed to better advocate for Native clients. Members strive to present indigenous views and values in the greater School of Law community.
